Greeters

Greeters welcome all who come to worship on Sunday morning, ready with a smile and a desire to assist in any way needed.  Greeters are located at the front of the church and near the gazebo, and must arrive at least 15-20 minutes prior to the service.  This ministry could expand to include keeping a record of visitors which would assist the staff with follow up the next week.

 

Skills Needed: A friendly smile, a loving heart, and a willingness to reach out to all who enter our doors

 

Training Required: A brief introduction from a staff member

 

Time Commitment: Several times per year if enough volunteers are involved

 

Length of Commitment: One year or longer

 

Number of Volunteers: Ideally we would like to have 30 or so volunteers.  At one time we had a large group of greeters, then this was taken over by a paid staff person.  We would like to return to volunteers.
