The Funeral Reception volunteers assist in preparing a reception in the Parish Hall following a Memorial Service.  This includes planning refreshments and assisting with flowers and everything needed for a reception.  They may coordinate with the kitchen staff as well as the family of the deceased.

  

 

 

Greeters welcome all who come to worship on Sunday morning, ready with a smile and a desire to assist in any way needed.  Greeters are located at the front of the church and near the gazebo, and must arrive at least 15-20 minutes prior to the service.  This ministry could expand to include keeping a record of visitors which would assist the staff with follow up the next week.

 

 

 

The Kitchen Ministry is an important ministry serving in several areas. They help prepare and serve breakfast each Sunday morning.  At the current time we are serving a simple continental breakfast.  Others work in teams preparing Simply Delicious Luncheons each Tuesday when we serve approximately 60 people.  Volunteers assist in greeting our guests, collecting meal tickets and money, serving, as well as preparing and distributing drinks.  This ministry would also assist with special events during the year.
