Kitchen Ministries

The Kitchen Ministry is an important ministry serving in several areas. They help prepare and serve breakfast each Sunday morning.  At the current time we are serving a simple continental breakfast.     This ministry would also assist with special events during the year where volunteers assist in greeting our guests, collecting meal tickets and money, serving, as well as preparing and distributing drinks.

 

Skills needed: A willingness to work and a love for the kitchen; the gift of hospitality and desire to serve.  Aprons will be provided.

 

Training: On the job training.  Cooking instructions, if needed.

 

Time Commitment: Once a month from September to May or as scheduled by agreement, i.e. during the summer.

 

 

Length of Commitment: One year or longer

 

Number of Volunteers: Ideally we would like a chairman, as well as 24 volunteers, some of whom would be working as teams on Tuesdays.  Senior high and youth, and young adults are welcome, too!
