Music Committee

The Music Committee is made up of parishioners interested in the music ministry at Christ Church.  They assist Owen Duggan by providing congregational representation, leadership, and administrative help.  They assist with special music needs as well.

 

Skills Needed: Love for Music

 

Time Required: Once a month meeting, usually at 8:30 am over breakfast

Another volunteer opportunity is the Music Library.

 

Volunteers for the Music Library help with ordering, cataloging and maintaining scores (currently 10,000+ scores and anthologies in the collection) for worship and special music.

 

Skills Needed: Love for music.  Familiarity with vocal music scores is a plus.

 

Training Required: Offered when you volunteer

 

Time Commitment: 4+ hours per month.  

 

Length of Commitment: 1+, consistency is valuable

 

Number of Volunteers: 2-4

A Sheet Music Assistant would also benefit the Music Ministry at Christ Church.
