The deadline for applications is March 1, 2012.

To be eligible for a scholarship, a student must be a full-time student, of good moral character, exhibit academic excellence (based on the ability of each student), evidence financial need, and regularly participate in a Christian church. All applicants must also be residents of the greater San Antonio area. Students who are currently recipients of an Ellison Scholarship award must apply to renew their award using form below. 1. Application for a New Applicant (which includes a former recipient who has graduated and is applying for a different level of education, i.e., high school to college, college to graduate school).

Please download and print the 2 forms which are needed for your application, plus the personal financial statement. There are some fairly significant changes this year, one of which is the option to include your FAFSA form instead of your tax returns. The Ellison Scholarship Committee is dedicated to reviewing the applications as fairly and consistently as possible, taking into account all the stated requirements currently set forth in the guidelines for review. The Committee is equally dedicated to reviewing and awarding the scholarships in a very timely manner, and would therefore appreciate the cooperation of all applicants in turning in the application and all supporting documents by the deadline.
