Life After Loss

Christ Church Pastoral Care and Porter Loring Family Care Services offer Life After Loss. This is a program designed by the American Cancer Society to help bereaved people better understand the process of grief and how to live through it in a way that transforms them. It also provides a place for people to share their experiences and support each other in their grief. For more information, contact Carol Miller at 736-3132.

A more compassionate listener?
Someone who says the right thing when others are facing death? And grief?
Come, study and worship with us, share your experiences, develop and practice your skills, become more what Jesus would have you be as you minister in the world.
Community of Hope meets once a week for 11 weeks. Subjects include: Benedictine Spirituality, Pastoral Care, Listening, Prayer and Meditation, Visiting, Care for the Caregiver, and Practice Visits and a Retreat.
