Join Christ Church

 

 

Welcome to the Christ Church family! We are blessed to have you with us. Please contact Anna Jewell at 736-3132 with any questions regarding membership.

 

There are two ways to become a member of Christ Church:

Baptized Member:
If you have been baptized in any Christian denomination and wish to join Christ Church, we can recognize you as a baptized member of Christ Church. Contact Anna at 736-3132 and provide the place and date of your baptism so we can request your transfer or show us a copy of your baptismal certificate and we will record your membership. If you are not yet baptized, this is the place to start. Baptisms are held regularly at Christ Church; contact Anna at 736-3132 to schedule.
 

Transfer of Membership from an Episcopal Church:
If you are already a member of another Episcopal church, the office can request your letter of transfer from your previous congregation. As soon as we receive the transfer we will add you to our membership rolls and you will receive a letter confirming the transfer.
 

 

An adult member (16 years and older) of record who has received communion at Christ Church at least three times in the previous year, has attended regularly, and who has been faithful in working, praying, and giving for the spread of the Kingdom of God through our mission is eligible to vote for church leadership at the annual parish meeting in January. Furthermore, in order to be considered a nominee for the vestry one must be an active member of Christ Church.

Being a member of Christ Church

means you are ready to further your walk with Christ through worship, Christian formation, fellowship, and service.

Being a member of Christ Church

means you are ready and prepared to support the mission of the church through prayer, time, monetary support, and service.
