Junior Daughters

The Junior Daughters of the King is a national Order of young girls and women, ages 8-19, which was started in 1896. The Christ Church chapter began in February 1944. Their purpose is to spread Christ’s kingdom and to strengthen the spiritual life of the church. The Junior Daughters work toward that purpose through a life of prayer and service. They learn that they have a responsibility and a commitment to God. In addition, the various service projects that they are involved in help them cultivate a heart of compassion and mercy for those around them.

We meet once a month during the school year; and while our meetings are usually on Sunday morning, we do have occasional meetings on Sunday afternoons or on Saturdays to accommodate the various activities. Many of the activities can be used as credits to your community service hours for school. If you are interested in joining, please call Elizabeth Martinez at 736-3132 or Tina Bigley.
