Upper Elementary Fellowship For All 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade "Villagers"
Fun fellowship events are provided monthly for our pre-teen 3rd,
4th, and 5th graders. Most events are held immediately after the
11:00 AM Service or Children's Chapel and include lunch and fun off-campus
activities. The purpose of Upper Elementary Fellowship is to allow
children to bond with each other outside the church environment and
to prepare them for the transition to Student Ministry.
Opportunities For Service
Junior Acolytes
All 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders may commit to serve as Junior Acolytes in Children's Chapels offered at 8:30 and 11:00 AM. This ministry allows older elementary childern to help in worship leadership and add to the beauty and tradition of our chapel services.Participation also prepares them for service as Acolytes in regular church services when they reach 6th grade.
Junior Daughters of the King
Junior Daughters of the King is an organization dedicated to service and prayer. They meet monthly during the school year. Girls in 3rd grade through seniors in high school are eligible to join. Members participate in service projectswithin Christ Church and also involving local outreach ministries. This group afoords the opportunity to experience personal ministry while growing in Christian fellowship. |
