| Opportunities
here are ministering to Russian orphans and their caretakers
by doing crafts, playing games and developing relationships
in Belarus and Russia at childrens camps in the summer
and orphanages in the winter. Summer trips are usually in
June and July in coordination with other area churches. Winter
trips often are in January.

Russian Camps were used by the Communist Government to indoctrinate
the Russian children with the Communist Agenda. For some seventy years
it was mandatory that the children of Russian families attend camp.
After the fall of Communism, children still went to camp but there was
a need for curriculum. Mark Browne, an Episcopal priest, was approached
concerning this need. He developed a non-profit organization, Mission
Russia Outreach, which was the beginning of Christians taking the Hope
which is in them to the Russian children through camp ministry.
