Spend New Year’s in Russia

New Years In Russia! - The team meetings will be starting shortly for a short term mission trip to St. Petersburg, Russia. The trip will be some time after Christmas and for about 10-12 days. We will be visiting one or two orphanages where we have been maintaining a relationship with the director and children. The children generally are from 8-16 years old. At this time of the year the children in the orphanage will be the ones who have no family or place to visit over the holidays. We will have the opportunity to take outings with the children and share our time with them doing sports, games, crafts, learning English, telling Bible stories or just hanging out! We will use the gifts of those members on the team to determine exactly what we do. We always have interpreters so that language is not a barrier. Some of the children speak English very well! We will also get to visit the three family homes managed by Marina Topoltseva – our recent guest here in San Antonio!

If you can’t go and would like to support this trip we definitely need prayer warriors. We also could use support for the trip expenses and for the future purchase of a family home building! Maybe you have something special you think the children would like that we can bring with us!
