Music beautifully reflects the scriptural emphasis of sheep hearing and responding to the voice of the Shepherd. Under the dynamic leadership of our music ministers, voices and instruments blend as we join with the Shepherd's call in songs and hymns of thanksgiving, praise and worship.

At Christ Church, we see our music as a powerful means to tell the story of Jesus Christ to a hurting world and glorify the Lord in spirit and in truth. It is both a privilege and a blessing to be able to share our musical gifts not only with our church family but also with the surrounding community.

We welcome musical participants of all ages, backgrounds and preferences that truly desire to offer themselves to the Lord and help lead others in worship. From the many children's choirs and ensembles to the adult Chancel Choir, from prayerful Evensongs offered by the Schola Cantorum to the upbeat contemporary gospel stylings of the Epiphany Choir, we invite you to come and share in the Christian fellowship and the unique joy that God bestows on his worship leaders.

This fall, we are excited to announce the addition of a monthly Evensong Service at Christ Church to take place at 6 pm on the fourth Sunday of each month featuring our Schola Cantorum.

One of the music ministry's special offerings is the outreach program Friends of Music. Friends sponsors numerous concerts, charity fundraisers and worship gatherings throughout the year, bringing many to our doors that would not otherwise come. Friends of Music
Friends of Music is a special program promoting Christian outreach, education and fellowship through music. Friends of Music sponsors the annual masterwork presentation, visiting artists and an annual fellowship dinner with a guest (historical) composer. Instrumentalists
Instrumentalists of all types, traditional, folk and contemporary, participate in worship on a regular basis. If you have a special skill on an instrument and would like to offer your services to the glory of God please contact .
