Pastoral Care

Carol Miller
Pastoral Care Administrator

Perhaps no other area of our church better reflects the heart of the Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ, than Pastoral Care. When one of his sheep is in need, the Good Shepherd puts down all that he is doing in the pasture and goes to the aid of that one!

Likewise, when one of our Christ Church Family members is in need, the other members are moved to help fulfill that need. Christ Church Pastoral Care Team goes to the ill, homebound, hospitalized, lonely, depressed or anyone in need to give comfort, aid, and support for the body, soul, and spirit.

The Pastoral Care Desk is a daily clearinghouse available 24-hours for all pastoral care information.

Community of Hope – Its mission is to create a Christian community of volunteer lay chaplains, united in prayer, shaped by Benedictine spirituality, and equipped for pastoral care ministry. Enrollment is by application. Completion of the formation results in commissioning by the Rector as a lay pastor.
