Prayer is the vital two-way communication between the Shepherd
(Jesus Christ) and his sheep (us). Prayer not only puts us
directly in touch with God’s power, but also enables
us to hear his voice in order for us to step out into his
perfect will!
From specific and individual prayers prayed each Sunday to
our emergency prayer chain which is enacted in times of need
- prayer is a thriving force within our church family!
Prayer requests may be given to the Pastoral Care Desk line,
24 hours a day at 736-3132, ext. 165.

PRAYER MINISTRIES
Christ Healing Center
Christ Healing Center (CHC) is an inter-denominational ministry
composed of volunteer lay and ordained ministers dedicated
to the healing of hurting people in San Antonio and the surrounding
area.
CHC employs Christian healing prayer, in the name of Jesus
Christ, and with the partnership of the Holy Spirit, in order
to bring people to health and wholeness.
Christ Episcopal Church participates with CHC through its
chapter of the Order of St. Luke, which has hosted several
healing services and sponsors a prayer room once a week at
Christ Episcopal Church. The prayer room accepts appointments
for people to meet one-on-one with volunteer prayer ministers
and clergy to bring their needs to the Lord.
One hour appointments are made Tuesdays through Thursdays.
This ministry operates at 135 W. Olmos Drive.
If you, or anyone that you know is interested in prayer,
please call 210-930-7760 to make an appointment.
CHC also runs a Web site that contains more information
about the ministry at www.christhealingcenter.org.
Did you know that one of the greatest witnesses to the power
of the living Lord Jesus Christ is healing?
Therefore it is a wonderful tool for evangelism!
