Christian Education

 

At Christ Church one key area for growth takes place on Sunday mornings with our Adult Education program.  Each semester we start a new series of classes, taught by both lay leaders and clergy. We are blessed here with a strong number of gifted teachers, who have a vital relationship with the Lord. The classes cover a variety of topics. All of the classes are Bible-based and Christ-focused. The teachers attempt to engage the class members in the discussion as a means of encouraging an open and questioning environment as well as a sense of healthy fellowship and community.

We also encourage members of the church to join a weekday Bible study as another means of learning about the Christian faith and of how to respond to God’s word. Christ Church offers some Bible studies, but there are other wonderful Bible studies being offered by other groups in the city, like Bible Study Fellowship (BSF). At Christ Church we take education very seriously, as a means for us to learn more about God’s grace and the challenge for us to respond to that grace in the world.
