Online Giving at CEC

 

Introducing Online Giving at Christ Church!
 
Christ Church now has the capability to accept parishioner donations online via credit card or e-check. These donations can be regular pledges, one-time gifts, or capital campaign pledges/gifts. This last component of our new website design completes the web development project we started last year. Parishioners and friends of the church had asked us for several years to consider this technology for the convenience of our members—so our new website was designed with that feature in mind.  
 
To access the online giving section of the Christ Church website, please visit www.cecsa.org and click on the online giving tab, or follow this link. This will take you directly to our secure donations page. The donations page will initially collect some basic information on the donor such as name and address, then process an electronic payment for their pledge or other gift to the church. It’s just that easy—click-click-click! Donations can be marked as a one-time gift or a recurring gift, depending on the donor’s desire. If you prefer to give via secure e-check, then by providing minimal banking information, you can process an electronic check transaction.  
 
The whole idea of online giving is providing security and convenience for our parishioners. We know that this method won’t be perfect for everyone—so don’t worry—the traditional forms of giving will always be graciously accepted. This is really designed to give yet another method for members and friends of the church to facilitate their stewardship for the church. In the future, we will also be able to coordinate reservations for events such as Friends of Music concerts and other special church events through this section. However, for now, we’ll stick to managing the high-tech change to online giving.

 

Online Giving Tip: If you would like to use the new online giving feature on our website (www.cecsa.org) to make a contribution to your already established 2009 pledge, please select “Donation” and direct your donation to the “General Operating Fund.” This will allow you to then specify the amount to apply toward your 2009 pledge.
