Youth Ministry

Student Ministry at Christ Church is all about RELATIONSHIP

We worship a God who has made himself known as Father, Son and Holy Spirit...He makes himself known as the ULTIMATE SOURCE OF RELATIONSHIP!

Our Bible Studies, Sunday Formation Classes, Mission Trips, and Neighborhood Bible Studies all seek to accomplish one goal: RELATIONSHIP with GOD and RELATIONSHIP with ONE ANOTHER.

We hope to see you soon....and BRING A FRIEND OR TWO. We all have a God-given purpose and calling, come out and join us as we seek to discover it together.

For more information about the Student Ministry at Christ Episcopal Church, contact Rev. Justin Lindstrom or Youth Ministers Amy Case and Susan Lindstrom.

CHRISTIAN FORMATION FOR YOUTH

Sunday School for Youth 7th - 12th grades - “Book of Romans” in the Carriage House 10 - 10:50 AM on Sundays

Our youth team – including Stephen Archer, Jennifer Berg, Heather & Ted Yun, Susan Lindstrom and Amy Case – will embark on a year-long study of one of the richest texts of the Bible to connect our minds and hearts to the scripture, not only as individuals, but as a group. Supplementing with daily encouragement through email, text message, and social media, our goal is to equip our junior and high school youth to grow in their understanding of the gospel message in their relationships, social issues, and mission work and to take that knowledge with them into their lives beyond the Carriage House. As always, we will incorporate music, humor and fun!

Confirmation Classes - Nov. 11 - April 7

Open to all 7th & 8th grade students

Confirmands attend Sunday School in the Carriage House from 10-10:50 AM. Additional confirmation instruction from 11-11:30 AM after which confirmands will take Holy Communion together as a group during the 11 AM service and rejoin their families afterward. Confirmation date TBD.

Click Here to donate a wreath

Deadline to donate is November 26

In honor of All Saints’ and Veterans’ Day, the Christ Church Youth Group is joining Wreaths Across America whose mission is to Remember, Honor and Teach by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Fort Sam Houston, Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 1,400 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad. Join us by sponsoring a wreath to be placed in honor of a veteran this December. Click the link above to donate one or more wreaths in honor of a veteran (wreaths start at just $15).

We also invite the parish to join us at the Fort Sam Houston wreath laying ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 15 at 11:00 a.m. More details will follow. Thank you for ensuring that our veterans’ sacrifice is remembered yet again and passed on to a new generation of Americans.

$5 of every wreath purchase will go to the CEC Youth to purchase Christmas gifts for our James Madison Christmas Store. Christ Church has a goal to donate at least 100 wreaths for our veterans!
